In December 2017 Dr Richard Hart travelled to Cambodia for the COS (Cambodian Ophthalmological Society) Annual Congress in Phnom Penh. His reasons for being there were twofold. The first was educational with Dr Hart presenting two lectures at the Congress. Secondly, Dr Hart was there to assess the Continuing Professional Development program that he helped to set up three years ago. Dr Hart will be travelling there again in 2018 to continue the work as well as providing surgical treatments.
