From the 7-10th of September Dr Clairton de Souza attended the 17th EURETINA (European Society of Retina Specialists) Congress in Barcelona. The programme encompassed the treatment and surgical techniques for different retinal diseases/issues. It also had a strong focus on encouraging participation from international groups and specialists just staring out in the field to promote future development in the retina field. This broad input gave the whole congress an exciting and inclusive feel.
